International session

The international session of SCI’18 is a new event in the 61 years history of ISCIE. The international session provides an opportunity for international interactions among researchers, students, and engineers who are working on various aspects of system, control, and information.

The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Author information

The SCI’18 invites you to submit abstracts of contributed papers. The accepted papers will be assigned to oral sessions in English. The length of a paper allowed is from 2 to 8 pages. Please note that at least one of the authors of each accepted paper is expected to attend the international session to present their work.

Abstract submission

Abstracts of all contributions for the International session must be submitted electrically using Submission form until the dead line (Jan 25, 2018.)

Final submission

Final paper of contributions for the International session could be uploaded electrically using Upload form if you have a Google account. You can also submit your paper by e-mail to the organizer. Please note the dead line (Mar 25, 2018).

Requirements

  1. Your final paper should be written in A4 size, then submitted as a PDF file. Be careful if you use US letter size usually.
  2. A Microsoft Word file and a LaTeX style file is available:
  3. Place a circle just before the name of the presenter.
  4. Number of pages is limitted within 2–8 pages.
  5. File size of a submission should not exceed 10 MB.
  6. Please ensure all fonts used in your paper are embedded.

Registration

It is mandatory that the presenter of each accepted paper should register to the SCI’18. Presenter of the international session should make advanced registration, however registration fees can be paid on site. All payments must be made in Japanese yen (JPY). On-site registration will accept payments made in Japanese yen (JPY) cash only. Please note the publication fee must be paid in addition to the registration fee if your paper is accepted.

Registration of attendance includes a copy of the Proceedings of the SCI’18. Note that the fee for the banquet is not included in the fee for attendance. Registration of the banquet can be completed together with registration of attendance.

Advanced registration is available using Registration form.

Registration fees

On-site registration will accept payments made in Japanese yen (JPY) cash only.

On-site payment is available for persons who cannot pay the fees by the bank transfer.

Registration of attendance will start on Feb. 26, 2018.

Registration of attendance includes a copy of the proceedings of the SCI’18. Note that the fee for the banquet is NOT included in the fee for attendance.
